Speaking in front of a bilingual audience in South America using simultaneous translation... one of the only known hypnotists in the world to actually hypnotize audiences using this technique.
"The Kuna Indians in Panama are the second smallest race in the world next to the African pygmies. These women are the first Kuna we met after sailing from the Rosario Islands in Colombia... about 125 miles away. These women spoke no English and had not seen an outsider for many months. Luckily we knew many Kuna words from a guidebook that we found months before and could easily communicate with them."
Dr. Grossman holds a United States Coast Guard Captain Masters License with a 100 Ton rating. He is a graduate of both the Annapolis School of Seamanship and the Chapman School of Seamanship.
The Kuna women in this village brought me this old treadle machine that hadn't worked for over 20 years and I fixed it for them. They have no electricity and cook over fires. They thought I was a genius so they brought me everything else in the village that needed repair. Everything we learn in life pays off."
Dr. Grossman and his wife Jane make a great team. Jane wrote a book about their sailing experiences and her diagnosis and cancer treatment in, "Windshifts, A True Story of Adventure and Triumph Over Breast Cancer".
"Anchored by an uninhabited island off the coast of South America."

Before he entered the profession of hypnosis Kenneth Grossman was a successful entrepreneur. His passion was seeing his employees and business partners grow and succeed. After 10 years he sold his companies to his employees, then went back to college and studied his true calling--hypnotism.

For the past 30 years he has been a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and he has safely hypnotized hundreds of thousands of people in both group and private sessions in the United States and around the world. He has developed many unique methods that are widely used in the profession.

He believes in living life to the fullest and his wanderlust has taken him all over the globe. During a recent exploration he had the opportunity to spend several months living amongst the Kuna Indians who inhabit the San Blas Islands of Panama. While there he attended a Kuna puberty ritual ceremony as the guest of a Kuna chief.

He was privileged to be able to visit with many of the Kuna shaman throughout the San Blas Islands who allowed him to study their primitive healing techniques first hand. What an amazing experience!

He did his undergraduate work at the University of Chicago, Eastern Michigan University and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He received doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy. He has studied nutrition at Cornell University.

He has the Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist designation from the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners and the Board Certified Hypnotist designation from the National Guild of Hypnotists.

He trained in London, England at the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences and received his International Certified Instructor Certificate from the National Guild of Hypnotists.

He was the director of the Hypnotism Training Institute of Chicago for more than 15 years and was an adjunct professor at Moraine Valley Community College near Chicago teaching hypnosis programs. He has lectured at many colleges and universities.

He has always had a passion for sailing and feels very at home on the sea. He has sailed many tens of thousands of miles during his lifetime. He holds a US Coast Guard Master Captain's License.

He is also a General Class Amateur Radio License (call sign KG4ISX) and is both a NAUI and PADI Certified SCUBA diver with hundreds of open ocean dives. He also has a passion for golf and fly fishing. He has an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force, having served for 4 years during the Viet Nam era.

Dr. Grossman is married to Jane and has 4 daughters, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. His wife Jane recently published a book about their sailing adventures from Chicago to South America aboard their sail boat Iniki.

Jane is a volunteer speaker for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. You can read the First Chapter of her fascinating and inspiring book "Windshifts: A True Story of Adventure and Triumph Over Breast Cancer " on her website www.JaneGrossman.com.
